Become a Level 1 Gyrotonic® InstructorAt Mind 2 Body, Gyrotonic® certification is a holistic process that strengthens your ability to both execute essential movements and teach them to students with clarity. The instructors at Mind 2 Body™ will be with you every step of the way ensuring you learn the skills needed to be a successful Gyrotonic® teacher. Private Sessions The coursework begins with 20 hours of private sessions with a certified instructor. Cost: This can cost $75-$90 per hour depending on your instructor's rate. This portion can cost between $1250 - $1800. Pre-Training During Pre-Training, a student learns to execute the Level 1 Gyrotonic® exercises flawlessly, under the guidance of an Authorized Pre-Trainer. Cost: $850 course fee + $200 studio fee = $1050 total Foundation Training Course Throughout this course, Master Trainers introduce the student to teaching techniques and principles required to successfully instruct others on Level 1 exercises that utilize the Pulley-Tower Combination Unit. The student then learns to conceive and prepare Gyrotonic® training programs. Cost: $1500 course fee + $350 studio fee = $1850 total Apprentice Teaching The teaching apprenticeship builds upon the knowledge gained during the Foundation Training Course by providing students with hands-on teaching practice. Students are required to begin their 30 apprenticeship hours within 12 months of completing the Foundation Training Course. Apprentice Review Workshop Under the guidance of a Master Trainer, the student will refine the teaching techniques developed in his or her apprenticeship. This reinforcement will prepare the student for his or her final 30 hours of apprenticeship. Cost: $700 Master Trainer fee + $300 studio fee = $1000 total Apprentice Teaching II With the review workshop as a guide, the student completes a second 30 hours of apprentice teaching. Final Certification Upon completion of all above coursework and apprenticeship hours, the student will travel to Miami for a final certification process led by a Master Trainer. Final certification cost: $350 course fee + $150 studio fee = $500 total Become a Level 1 Gyrokinesis® Instructor At Mind 2 Body™, Gyrokinesis® certification is a holistic process that strengthens both your ability to perform essential exercises and to communicate them with future students in a clear, precise manner. The experts at Mind 2 Body™ will guide you through each step of the process to ensure you will have the skill set needed to become a successful Gyrokinesis® instructor. Private Sessions Students enrolled in Gyrokinesis® coursework begin with 20 hours of class training with a certified instructor. Cost: This can cost $15-$25 per class. This portion can cost between $300 - $500. Pre-Training Under the guidance of an authorized Mind 2 Body™ Pre-Trainer, students learn to execute the essential Gyrokinesis® Level 1 exercises flawlessly. Cost: $550 course fee + $200 studio fee = $750 total Level 1 Teacher Training Throughout this course, a certified trainer will introduce the student to teaching techniques and principles that will help them teach the Level 1 Gyrokinesis® exercises. The student also learns to conceive and prepare Gyrokinesis® training programs. Cost: $950 course fee + $250 studio fee = $1200 total Apprentice Teaching The teaching apprenticeship builds upon the knowledge gained during the Level 1 Teacher Training by providing students with hands-on teaching practice. Students must complete 30 apprentice hours before advancing to their apprentice review. Supervised Apprentice Review Under the guidance of a certified Gyrokinesis® instructor, the student will refine the teaching techniques developed in his or her apprenticeship. This review period prepares a student for his or her final certification. Cost: $350 course fee + $150 studio fee = $500 total Final Certification Upon completion of all prerequisite coursework, the student will travel to Miami for a final certification process with a Master Trainer.
