Policies & Courtesies

  1. Yuma body rolling image For safety’s sake, please dispose of gum and/or candy before your training session.
    Stay alert. Keep your eyes open and attention focused during your workout.
  2. We request that all clients wear socks during their training sessions and / or classes for hygienic purposes. Toezies, Toesox and Crescent Moon socks with non slip grip bottoms are available for purchase at our retail boutique.  
  3. As a courtesy to Mind 2 Body™ staff & clients, please honor our NO CELL PHONE POLICY. Ringing cell phones disrupt the peaceful ambiance we strive to create.
  4. Clients with long hair should keep it tied back at all times during training sessions. Long hair can get caught in the apparatus and impede your movement or cause injury.
  5. Upon completion of your workout on each apparatus, please use the tea tree oil /water solution and bamboo cloths we provide to wipe down the equipment.
  6. We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Any missed appointments will be taken and charged unless notice is given 24 hours in advance.
  7. Please wear appropriate clothing to your training sessions. Nothing that is too loose or restrictive. It is important for your teacher to be able to see your body.
  8. No perfume or essential oils please. Many individuals have sensitivity to smells and/or are allergic to specific scents.
  9. Opportunities to do homework will be given following your training session. We give you this in the hope that you will learn the names and order of the exercises so that we may progress you more quickly. Also, our goal is that you will eventually become independent Pilates or Gyrotonic® practitioners.
    • As you gain familiarity with the method of your choice and its vocabulary, you will learn and fit more exercises in the hour. Your teacher will be able to advance you at a more rapid pace.
    • When you achieve a certain level: BASIC, INTERMEDIATE, and/or ADVANCED you may be eligible to take group reformer classes, group tower classes, group cobra classes, etc.
    • Also, when you become an intermediate practitioner, you are able to participate in open studio sessions.
    • When you familiarize yourself with your chosen methodology, you are not limited by studio availability.
