Our Studio

In the fall of 2008, Lani Pelino opened Mind 2 Body™, a stylish, fully equipped studio offering authentic, classical pilates, yoga and the GYROTONIC® exercise method.  Mind 2 Body™ started out of Lani’s home, but with tremendous word-of-mouth she outgrew the small space and opened a full-sized studio to accommodate her growing clientele.  Located in Sherman Oaks, California, Mind 2 Body™ is also an authentic, classical pilates training center. Mind 2 Body™ offers clients the opportunity to utilize any and all of these systems to maximize their fitness goals and enhance their quality of life through powerfully transformative movement.

Mind 2 Body™ is equipped with the latest and most innovative classical pilates equipment from Gratz and Pilates Designs by Basil. Our pilates apparatus includes all of the following: Mats, Reformers, Tower Units, Cadillac, Guillotine Tower, Arm Chair, Wunda Chair, High Chair, Pedi-Pull, Ladder Barrel, Spine Correctors and Barrels. We also pride ourselves on offering all of the accessories as well: neck stretcher, tensometer, foot corrector, push-up device, TV exercise box, and magic circles.

Also available at Mind 2 Body™ is the GYROTONIC® Pulley Tower – The Cobra Elite. We have three of these units, allowing us to offer group classes as well as privates. We also have The Jumping Stretching Board and The Archway. In addition, we have the ITONIC vibration machine by Freemotion Fitness, which compliments the mind to body experience.

Mind 2 Body™ reflects, nurtures, and supports the importance of the mind/body connection, which is the paradigm of our teaching goals. At Mind 2 Body™, we understand that each person is unique. We use an individual and holistic approach to physical and mental wellness. Your wellness goals influence your training sessions, which are individually tailored to your specific needs.
